We were engaged to manufacture B-Double cement tankers for a company in the Newcastle area.
In this particular project, there were specific access issues that required ladder access to the storage tanks. Ladders in Australia are required to meet the Australian standard so that safety issues are met, however in the transport industry this can be particularly challenging. R&R Murphy were engaged due to our ability to manufacture in a way that meets strict standards.
Although we no longer manufacture tankers or transport trucks, our experience, knowledge and skills in this industry means that we are engaged frequently to complete repairs and maintenance on these vehicles.
